We are seeking Diploma-qualified Lead Educators to join our caring and supportive team in our Wodonga centre. In these vital roles, you will utilise your experience and creativity to design programs and activities that will allow the individual in each child to shine.

It takes a village to raise a child

Working with us, you'll be part of a supportive team working together to provide the best learning environment for the children. Primarily you will be responsible for providing quality education and care to 0 – 5 year-old children that promotes ‘being, belonging and becoming’ and is within the guidelines determined by The Early Years Learning Framework.

Some of your day-to-day duties will include (but will not be limited to):

  • Providing Care: Ensuring a consistent, nurturing, caring, happy, secure, creative and active environment for all children;
  • Adapting to Individual Needs: Adapt your approach to the individual needs of each child, taking into account any cultural, socio-economic, or other differences, treating each child with dignity and respect;
  • Continual Improvement: Working with other staff towards continuous improvement in all areas of operation; and
  • Developing Relationships: Developing strong relationships with children and relationships that support and partner with families and the community.

You will bring a thorough understanding of the National Quality Framework and some innovative means to implement these.

What you'll bring

With a Diploma in Early Childhood, you will ideally bring some experience from a similar role, although this is not required. Your bright, bubbly personality will light up the room for the children as they arrive each day. You will understand that each child is an individual and will interact and converse with them in a manner that will allow their personality to grow.

With strong communication skills and a desire to make a difference in their lives, you will nurture the relationship with the children in your care and their extended families and friends.
